A Holiday for Heroes proudly presents “Battle of the Badge” a police vs. fire boxing event featuring local police officers squaring off against tri-state firemen in the squared circle.
A Holiday for Heroes is a local charity in its tenth year that is dedicated to providing educational scholarships and relief grants to the families of local Police Officers, Firefighters and Military Personnel that have been killed or injured in the line of duty. Funds are raised through events such as “Battle of the Badge”, “4th For Our Soldiers” and the “Holiday for Heroes, Golf Tournament” which will be held throughout the year.
